At-Large Springfield City Councilor Jesse Lederman will hold four Office Hour sessions this summer to give constituents the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the Councilor and discuss their questions, concerns, and ideas.
“With the City Council in Summer Session, I want to ensure that residents continue to have an opportunity to engage around the issues most important to them,” said Lederman “Constituent services, accessibility and addressing neighborhood concerns remain among my top priorities.”
Since taking office in January, Councilor Lederman has organized two Town Hall style meetings in the North End and Mason Square as a way to connect city residents with their elected officials. Lederman was joined at the Town Hall meetings by fellow Councilors and School Committee Members, as well as State Representatives and State Senators.
Councilor Lederman plans to hold two additional Town Hall meetings this year, to be announced closer to the Fall, and plans additional Town Halls in 2019.
The Summer Office Hours are meant to provide an opportunity for residents to engage in a smaller setting.
