SPRINGFIELD — At-Large City Councilor Jesse Lederman is hosting a Town Hall style meeting in Indian Orchard on Thursday that is open to all city residents and is intended to address any questions, concerns and ideas.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m., and will take place at the Indian Orchard Citizens Council building, located at 117 Main St., in Indian Orchard.
It marks the 5th Town Hall meeting in the past two years sponsored by Lederman.
“Through our town hall style meetings we have engaged hundreds of residents across our city to discuss neighborhood concerns,” Lederman said. “I am glad to bring the format to Indian Orchard, and again partner with my colleagues and community organizations to connect neighborhood residents with their elected officials.”
Ward 8 Councilor Orlando Ramos will serve as co-host, and at-large Councilor Kateri Walsh also plans to attend.
The event is held in collaboration with Indian Orchard Citizens Council. The citizens council president, Zaida Govan will serve as moderator.
“As the Springfield City Council continues to take on major issues affecting our city, I’m sure there are many folks who have questions,” Ramos said. “I look forward to a productive conversation with our constituents as we provide and opportunity for them to ask questions and share their concerns.”
