Springfield City Councilor Jesse Lederman to Hold Virtual Town Hall Meeting Focused on COVID-19 Reso
At-Large Springfield City Councilor Jesse Lederman will hold a virtual Town Hall style meting on Tuesday, April 14th at 6:00 PM to discuss resources and response in the wake of the COVID-19 health pandemic, and answer submitted questions from the public.
“During this difficult time it is more important than ever for local government to be accessible and transparent. We know that many of our neighbors are experiencing uncertainty and hardship as a result of this pandemic, and we know it can be overwhelming to navigate the system. We want our community to know that there is help out there, and it is also important for us to hear directly from our community about the challenges they are facing,” said Councilor Lederman “As a City Councilor I’ve used Town Hall style meetings to update and engage with our constituents and neighbors – since right now staying at home is the best way to stay safe, we are bringing the town hall experience to the people in their homes.”
The panel will take place via videoconference and will be broadcast by Focus Springfield Community TV.
